Pure 'Migration' luxury in the Serengeti National Park 

As the Great Migration moves with the seasons, so Olakira Camp follows to ensure guests always have a front row seat to nature’s greatest spectacle. With nine spacious tents, complete with full en-suite facilities, Olakira Camp treats its guests to a uniquely personal and authentic East African experience in two fantastic locations in the Serengeti.

Between June and November Olakira Camp is positioned in the Northern Serengeti on the banks of the famous Mara River. This great natural barrier creates a mighty spectacle each year as the herds of animals look to cross the river to access the fresh lush grasses. Here you can look out across into Kenya in the north, and if you're lucky you will see incredible action from the camp itself. At night you will be lying in your luxury safari tent listening to hippos bloat and crocs splash in the river. Between December to March the camp is set up in the Southern Serengeti, the whole of Okakira Camp is moved south during these months to follow the migration herds.
