The wonderful Jopikgarden Guesthouse is a quintessential Swedish farmhouse set on the beautiful island of Hinderson in the Lulea archipelago. Jopikgarden remains a firm favourite on the Sandgrouse Travel ‘Snowmobile Northern Lights Safari’. Visit between January and April for activities such as, Northern Lights hunting, snowshoe walking, snowmobiling and husky dogsledding.
With only four cosy rooms each with their own en-suite bathroom, and a homely décor throughout it is easy to quickly find yourself relaxing by the fire with a warming brandy after a day out on the ice. Renowned for its fine dining and creative use of locally sourced foods, the guesthouse has a bustling trade at the weekends with people coming from far and wide seeking out the first class coffee and waffles, served with local cloudberries and ice cream.

Between January and April the beautiful Hinderson Island in the Lulea archipelago is accessible by ice road or snowmobile only, either way you will be arriving here in a unique fashion. The secluded and special island is the perfect setting the charming and traditional Jopikgarden Guesthouse.
Furnished in a typically Swedish way, the farmhouse is a cosy home from home with wooden floors throughout, light and airy rooms and a small bar and restaurant.
As you would expect in Swedish Lapland there is of course a sauna to be found out in the garden, perfect for a defrost after you have been out for the day on the snowmobiles or with your team of huskies and guide.

Ice-fishing on the frozen lakes and sea
Guided snowshoe walks in search of the Nothern Lights or Aurora Borealis
Snowmobiling on the tundra or through the forests
Husky dogsledding with your own team of dogs and a guide.
