The eight beautifully stylish and secluded tented suites have been designed to reflect the ethos of the camp, evoking the spirit of vintage safari. With each tented suite situated at least 80 metres apart from each other, you are ensured total privacy each with a stunning lake view. A pool is hidden beneath the trees to cool off from the midday sun, and the Amani Spa offers the ultimate in relaxation.

Situation

Chem Chem Lodge is located on the western (sunset) edge of the Chem Chem Concession between Tarangire and Lake Manyara National Parks. Embracing the concept of a ‘slow safari’ – slowing down and immersing yourself fully in the experience – guests enjoy private bush picnics, Maasai guided interactive walks, village visits and sundowners on the edge of Lake Manyara.

Set in 55,000 acres of private land. Eight stylish tents at Chem Chem Lodge, one of these is a family unit with an additional tent that can sleep up to four children (aged 8 - 16).

The closest international airport is Kilimanjaro (3½ hour drive). Arusha Airport and Manyara Airstrip are both a 90-minute drive to Chem Chem Lodge.

By Car

Road transfer from Kilimanjaro Airport to Chem Chem Lodge is 3 hours, and from Arusha Airport and Lake Manyara airstrip it is 1.5 hours.
