Aurora Safari Camp

MAGICAL TENTED CAMP IN SWEDISH LAPLAND

Aurora Safari Camp offers visitors to Swedish Lapland a unique experience. This remarkable camp is truly wonderful and one of it’s kind in the region. Founder, owner and host Fredrik Broman, took inspiration for the design of Aurora Safari Camp from many of the tented safari camps in East Africa he has visited during his professional photography career. Here he has creating something incredibly special right on the banks of the Råne River.

There are currently 5 very comfortable Lavvu Rooms (traditional Sami tipi style tents) that can be set as double, twin or family rooms. Each of the tents has at its heart a woodburning stove which provides exceptional warmth even when the temperatures are very low outside the tents. Guests can take advantage of the camp's snowshoes, fatbikes and kicksleds if they are feeling active.

A stay at Aurora Safari Camp is a unique experience that is sure to stay with you forever.

Temperatures in this part of northern Sweden are extremely cold during the winter months, we recommend travellers pack for a true winter experience. Guests are also supplied with additional suitable winter clothing on arrival and or before their activities commence.

Day time activities such as snowmobiling, winter skills classes or husky sledding often include lunch out in the wilderness.

Guests are encouraged to take advantage of the camps own snowshoes, fat-bikes and kicksleds and enjoy the local nature and wilderness as the local Swedish people do.
