Our incredible Solheim Cup 2019 Scotland itinerary takes in not only the golf tournament at world-famous Gleneagles Hotel & Golf Courses but the very best of Scotland, from the vibrant and exciting captial city Edinburgh to the magic of the Scottish Highlands most dramatic glens.
Self-drive or fully guided options are available so there is really no excuse but to get yourself here for one of the world's most exiting modern day golf touraments, the Solheim Cup at Gleneagles. Arriving in Edinburgh you will enjoy a VIP meet and greet before being whisked to your luxury city centre hotel by Land Rover. For two days you will explore the best of this most beautiful of historical cities, learning much about the culture and history as well as sampling the best food in town.
Leaving Edinburgh you head to St. Andrews for a dream round of golf on the Royal & Ancient's Old Course. Putt out on the 18th with the famous clubhouse as a backdrop, walking the fairways in the footsteps of golf's greatest legends. From the links to the hills, you head inland to stunning Highland Perthshire. Here you wll visit great castles and sample more of Scotland's charms from quaint Highland towns to the wildlife high on the heather-clad mountains (on a private wildlife safari with a local ranger).
The following days will be spent at Gleneagles for the 2019 Solheim Cup ladies' golf tournament (the women's equivalent to the Ryder Cup). Your itinerary includes the Saturday entry to the tournament before retiring to your rooms at Gleneagles Hotel.
The following days see you visit some of Scotland's most beautiful scenery on the West Coast from land and sea with wildlife and marine safaris included and stays at the best hotels. You'll visit whisky distilleries, sample the regions best locally souced seafood and spot incredible wildlife before the itinerary ends back at Edinburgh Airport.
