AN AUTHENTIC ARCTIC TRAPPER'S CABIN

The Trapper's Cabin is located about 10kms outside Longyearbyen at the very end of the only road on Svalbard. Here you are truly at the end of the road, beyond is an area of uninhabited Arctic wilderness the size of Scotland, an amazing thought.

The Trapper's Cabin is a new building however it is built in the very same style as an authentic Trapper's Cabin, the type you may find dotted around Spitsbergen. Outside the cabin is a working dog yard which has over 80 beautiful husky dogs who live at the yard. These dogs are working dogs and they will be used on your very own adventures and expeditions if you are heading.
